Some years ago, my parents visited me in Columbus, OH.
Our activity for the weekend was to visit the local zoo. Mom was very impressed by these flowers. We snapped a photo.
The original that I painted was a Mother's Day/Birthday present for Mom.
The second version was sold in a charity auction to a friend.
This one was created for a painting demonstration at Cafe International (where my art show will be opening this Friday night.)
3 Flowers #3 was painted with just 4 colors- crimson, phthalo blue, burnt umber, and lemon yellow.
